Remove the items and place them in an area that is well-ventilated and exposed to direct sunlight.
Some contaminated stored materials, such as clothing, books, etc. can be decontaminated, items that are no longer needed can be discarded.
Dispose of any cardboard boxes contaminated with urine or droppings. Plastic, glass, or metal containers can be disinfected by spraying them with solutions or disinfectant.
Wash hands well with soap and warm water.
Before service make sure to remove all items from the area or make sure items are covered and protected to prevent anything from getting damaged.
